Rakshabandhan, commonly known as Rakhi Bandhan Utsav, is a festival that celebrates the bonding of brother & sister, where the sister ties rakhi to her brother’s wrist in order to protect him from bad luck and ill-fate. In Bengal, the festival has got a strong connection with “banga-bhanga” movement.
Renowned producer, singer & music director Sarbajit Ghosh produces a unique calendar every year. Unlike every year the unique festival of “Rakhshabandhan” successfully made its place on the page of August. This year Sarbajit has produced a unique photoshoot in Raksha Bandhan theme with popular tele-actress Arkoja Acharyya of Star Jalsha’s OGO NIRUPAMA fame.

Sarbajit & Arkoja have been portrayed as brother & sister in the photos, & one of these pics are being featured in the upcoming SRL Calendar 2022, for the month of August in the Calendar. Arkoja & Sarbajit both said that they had a wonderful time shooting in this theme, & it really felt like real rakhi ceremony & not a shoot.
